Refreshing Watermelon Basil drink

It is so hot out today, that I needed a refreshing drink to cool me down.

This recipe is so easy and only 4 ingredients.

Taste is sweet, cooling, and a hint of lime.

A beautiful colour, and summer drink to enjoy. Very hydrating.

I have used both with seeds and seedless. With the seeds you will need to tediously remove them before blending.

This recipe calls for limes, as I find it fits the flavours of basil better. But you could certainly use a lemon instead.

I garnished the drink with slices of cucumber, and threw them into the drink.

Summer time heat needs a refreshing and cooling drink. This watermelon basil beverage has a perfect sweetness, with a hint of lime.
Watermelon that are seedless means you are enjoying this drink in 5 minutes. But you could certainly use the seeded watermelon, and remove the seeds before blending.
I used lime, as I find it pairs well with basil. Lemon would also work.
