Hello and Welcome to Nutriment Health & Fitness !
I am Julie-Ann Rawlings, a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and Live Cell Technician.
I have been a health Practitioner for over 11 years specializing in Food Allergies/Sensitivities, Digestive disorders, and always searching for underlying issues.
Let’s rewind…Why did I become a Nutritionist?
One main reason was the Fitness competitions. It gave me a great reason to invest my efforts and time with a Kinesiologist trainer.
My diet then wasn’t the best:
I was provided with meal plans that consisted of Whey protein shakes, protein bars, Greek yogurt, and cottage cheese. And whole wheat breads as a carbohydrate source.
This is where my career interest shifted to the chemistry of food and Nutrition. Looking at how food choices can cause irritation to the digestive and immune system.
As time went on, I realized that food can be your poison, as well as the cure.
My goal was to help others overcome diet challenges, to be their healthiest, to have energy, and feel overall better.
Nutriment Health & Nutrition was created:
Whatever your reason may be, I have created Nutriment Health & Fitness to bring hope, motivation and to inspire others with guidance.
Create easy, quick meal plans, provide tools, resources, tips and tricks to prepping meals. While trying to avoid wasted food. Let’s face it, food is too expense just to go to waste.
So What do I eat for breakfast?
This is easily the most asked question I receive.
With my busy work schedule running Nutriment Health with supporting clients, and then creating and sharing gluten free recipes, and photographer & video creator. All my meals need to be quick, easy, and nutritious.
Breakfast:
Almond milk chai tea latte and a bowl of fruit with coconut yogurt and little crunch from some Gluten-Free Granola.
Weekends I have a little more time. Oatmeal gluten free with blueberries and hemp seeds.
Everyone has a journey to be proactive in their health. My motto is main focus on the 80/20 rule – 80% eating food for your body specific, and the 20% is indulging within reason.
Be good to yourself!
Julie-Ann xo
