1cupWhite rice rinsed wellUse Jasmine or Basmati

Instructions
Rinse the rice in a fine mesh strainer really well under running water while stirring it around with your fingers. Rinse until the water runs clear of most of the starch. Shake out most of the excess water. Then add the rice to the Instant Pot
Add cold water to the Instant Pot making sure all the rice is under the water.
Close the lid and turn clock wise to lock. Set the venting knob to the "SEALING" position.
Press the MANUAL button, and plus or minus button to read 3 minutes. The instant pot will begin to pressurize which takes approximately 10 minutes.
Once the 3 minute timer beeper goes off, wait until the silver pressure valve drops which is approximately 10 minutes. Put on an oven glove and turn the pressure knob to "VENTING" position to release any steam. Slowly open the lid and put aside. Taking care to avoid the hot steam.
