Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Gluten Free Bread (approx 4 slices) 130g
  • 3 tbsp Vegan Butter if avoiding dairy or Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt optional

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit or 218 degrees Celsius
  • If using Vegan Butter, slowly melt the butter in a small pan on low heat
  • Line a large baking pan with parchment paper
  • For the bread, cut them all into bite size pieces and place them in a big mixing bowl
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the melted vegan butter or olive oil with the Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Add Salt to taste if desired.
  • Slowly drizzle this seasoned butter oil mix over the bread pieces and then mix and toss them together with 2 large spoons.
  • Place these bread pieces onto the parchment lined baking pan and spread them out evenly so they are not overlapping each other.
  • Place the baking pan into the heated oven and cook for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes use tongs to flip the croutons around.
  • Check if they are toasting nicely but not burnt. Once they are toasted take out the baking pan and leave on the stove for 5 minutes to cool down and harden the croutons even more.
  • Enjoy in your soups or salads. Stores well in a container for 5 days
