A deliciously creamy dessert for everyone to enjoy. This recipe is completely plant-based, dairy free, and gluten free.
In this recipe I used Unsweetened Oat Milk, which is one of the creamiest of the plant-based milks.
The rice texture is slightly firm, with a sweet creamy, holiday season cinnamon spice flavour.
Basmati is the best for rice pudding. You could also use Jasmine White Rice. Do not use a brown rice for this recipe.
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
This Creamy Rice Pudding is absolutely delicious on its own. But if you need to add a bit more chewy or crunch then here are a few ideas.
- Almonds or Almond Slivers (good protein)
- Pumpkin Seeds
- Sesame Seeds
- Hemp Hearts (good protein)
- Chia Seeds (good protein)
- Dairy Free Chocolate Chips is great for Children to enjoy
- Raisins are a classic addition
